Access Statement For The Old Dairy

Introduction

The Old Dairy is a detached converted farm building which can be approached by most vehicles. Please see pictures on the web site. But there are some steps to negotiate outside and a few to go from the kitchen to lounge. Wheelchairs would be a problem.

Arrival & Car Parking Facilities

The cottage is approached by a steep dirt drive arriving on the flat pebble graveled parking area right outside the choice of 4 doors.

Main Entrance & Reception

Two doors are double French doors with 3 difficult steps. The main front door is also difficult with steeps. The middle door is 1 big stone slab step into the kitchen corridor, slightly tricky for a wheelchair but OK for a short walk.

At the kitchen doorway you are in a corridor that leads to a downstairs bathroom and en-suite bedroom, the other way leads to 3 steps up into the lounge.

The ground floor bathroom has handrails by the toilet and by the bath.
